Nik Zaleski (she/they) is a somatic change acceleration coach, facilitator, and narrative artist who organizes her life around awe. She is an embodied social justice facilitator, Authentic Tantra Practitioner, Somatics Coach, certified Sexologist, and creator of Academy of Awe.

Nik has nearly two decades of experience working in social change movements, primarily for reproductive justice and sexual violence prevention. They have co-founded several social justice organizations and collectives, including her current organizational development company, Murmur, and others that are still moving their impact through the world: For Youth Inquiry Performance Company of the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health, Ag47 Artist Mentorship Collective, Swarm Artist Residency, and Shared Space.

Artistically, she has directed dozens of participatory plays that move audiences to action and is currently a co-director of Sojourn Theatre. Nik also holds a Bachelor of Science in Gender Studies and Performance Studies from Northwestern University as well as a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from DePaul University, where they combined Public Health and Theater Directing coursework in the MFA directing program. 

Nik is a facilitator, embodiment and somatics coach, consultant, director, writer, participatory experience designer, beekeeper, space curator, game maker, mead alchemist, Christian Mystic Witch, and circle keeper. She lives in the East Bay of California with a garden that grows year-round.
