Consults on Cultural Strategy for the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health

  • Currently developing a digital story library to archive and activate youth reproductive justice narratives   
  • Develops arts-based actions and demonstrations. Collaboratively designed a demonstration for Advocacy Day 2013 to support safe family-centered conversations about sexuality by banning Conversion Therapy and Parental Notification for Abortion in Illinois. Performed at the state capitol building in Springfield, Il in March 2015.
  • Co-Designed a game on starting comfortable conversations about sexuality between youth and the people that influence their lives. Talk the Talk helps players practice for real life, empowering them with tools needed to start critical dialogue in their lives.

Consults on Storytelling Strategy with the Center for Reproductive Rights, gathering abortion stories to support the organization’s legislative advocacy work.

Co-designed ArtMoves with CoreAlign, a project that brings reproductive health, rights, and justice activists through four visual art stations to generate inquiry and catalyze community; stitching together their broken hearts, building non-traditional family trees, collaging pleasure-centered sexual images, and writing blackout poetry.
