VIOLENCE PREVENTION & SEX ED

Sexual Violence Prevention. Co-directs CounterAct at Arizona State University: a multidisciplinary, campus-wide effort to reduce sexual assault and center healthy relationships and healthy sexuality at ASU. The initiative will catalyze 880 artistic actions in response to the 880 sexual assaults that occur in the United States each day. It includes efforts that face students and faculty of all ages throughout the year and on various campuses at ASU, with targeted practices and digital integration for each audience. Sexuality Education. Designs and facilitates comprehensive sexuality education and sexual violence prevention programming, centering the arts as an innovative education strategy. 

Co-authored and co-facilitated ICAH’s Comprehensive Sexuality Education curriculum: Sex Ed Saves: Amplifying Youth Voice through Sex-Positive Education addresses youth's needs for sexual health, rights, and identities knowledge through a range of interactive and expressive activities that engage all learning styles.
